The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation has given NAHJ a grant to help train the next wave of highly-skilled multimedia journalists at the 2009 Convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Members who have been laid off, or can demonstrate a financial hardship and/or that they stand to benefit from the enhanced training at the convention are eligible to apply.
