NAHJ Region 4 along with the CNN Diversity Council will be hosting the APJ /Multimedia Storytelling 101 training
Cost: $25 for NAHJ member, $30 for UNITY members, $40 for non-members.
$10 for NAHJ or UNITY student members, $20 non-member students

Special for non-members: if you opt to sign up for NAHJ membership on-site, we will credit the $25 conference registration ($10 for students) toward your membership.

Session Description:
The news business has become global and feeding the international audience quickly and constantly is a challenge. How do you report news from Asia to Latin America in this new news media environment? Come learn the advantages to becoming a multi-platform journalist, identify your transferable skills, and learn the difference between producing web and TV video.

Session Description:
CNN has turned “one-man bands” into “all-platform” journalists, and announced an “expansion” of newsgathering with such people in dozens of American cities. With the arrival of portable digital camcorders, laptop computers with editing software, and high-speed Internet connections, now virtually anyone can produce what’s termed “news content,” and virtually everyone can shoot, edit and feed.

Mr. Hernandez is in charge of APJ – All platform journalists, working with dozens of contributors around the United States.
