NAHJ midcareer members to work with top editors, receive Harvard management training
For the first time, the New York Times is opening it’s Leadership Academy to midcareer members of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. We’re looking for newsroom leaders relatively new to management or who would like to move into management and want to take their skills to the next level.
The program brings the selected candidate into the Times newsroom for a week to work with top editors and managers. Then it’s on to Harvard for two weeks of study at the business school.
This is a highly competitive program. All expenses are paid by the Times, as part of its commitment to diversity in the news industry.
Deadline for applying is Oct. 1.
NAHJ is proud to offer this program to its members. We thank the New York Times for its generous support and its commitment to increasing the number of Latino editors and managers in newsrooms.
