Originally from Panama City, Panama, Aisha Al-Muslim is currently a senior at Lehman College in New York. Aisha majors in Multilingual Journalism and minors in Black Studies and Italian. She is the president of the NAHJ Lehman College Student Chapter.

She is the Editor-in-Chief of her college newspaper, the Meridian. She has interned in the news department at WCBS-TV in New York, in the assignment desk at WABC-TV in New York and in the Fashion and Beauty Department at People en Espaņol magazine. She is an active alumna at HarlemLIVE, a non-profit youth media organization, where she was a writer and video editor. Aisha wants to be a television reporter or a news writer.
