Robert Hernandez is Senior Producer / News for The Seattle Times/seattletimes.com. He’s been at the family-owned publication for five years.
His journalism career includes working for the Hearst-owned San Francisco Examiner/eXaminer.com, San Francisco Chronicle/SFGate.com and El Salvador's La Prensa Gráfica, among others.
He has been involved with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists since 1996 and recently became an interim board member representing Online. He is officially running for the seat this election year.
He lives in Seattle with his wife Connie, a photojournalist turned special-education teacher, their Boston Terrier and their 1960 Volvo 122.
