The Streets of Laredo (Old Tricks for Modern Storytelling)
This workshop offers practical advice on how to apply timetested techniques to newspaper writing. Topics will include focusing leads, constructing anecdotes and crafting better endings. The talk draws upon television, folk song (hence the title) and even a little Shakespeare.
