NAHJ Region 5 Director Mac Perez
Maclovio Perez currently presents the weather at KRIS TV in Corpus Christi. His first degree was in Journalism from University of Texas at Austin, followed by a second degree is in Geo-sciences from Mississippi State. Perez is currently earning his Masters in Education at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
Mac Perez is a former president of CCNMA and former president of San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists. In 1984, he was a founding member of NAHJ. Perez began the first television broadcast seminars at the annual NAHJ convention.
