México Daily:

Belo has launched The Dallas Morning News Express, its first international newspaper targeting English-language business travelers, diplomats and tourists. The paper publishes Monday through Friday and carries stories from The Dallas Morning News, The Providence Journal, The Press-Enterprise in Riverside, Calif., and newswires. The eight-page newspaper is distributed through partnerships between Belo and three Mexican newspapers El Economista in Mexico City, Noticias in the city of Oaxaca and Vanguardia in Saltillo-Monterrey. The paper offers U.S. and international news, business, sports and lifestyles coverage. It also contains local and regional news from Belo's partnerships with the three Mexican newspapers. "Express is designed to be a quick read for people on the go," said Robert Wong, president and general manager of The Dallas Morning News. "It is clear that our targeted readers want a reliable product that gives them the latest news in a condensed format."

Telemundo:

Telemundo Communications Group, Inc. acquired Feb. 12 KWHY-TV in Los Angeles from Harriscope for approximately $239 million. The acquisition gives Telemundo its second full-power television station in that city. KWHY is an independent Spanish-language television station that provides programming tailored to the Los Angeles' Hispanic community. The acquisition is subject to approval from the Federal Communications Commission.
