Vote for Officers Now in NAHJ’s First Electronic Election

The membership approved an amendment to the bylaws in 2006, which allows NAHJ’s elections to be carried out electronically. We are holding our first electronic elections now. To vote please visit https://eballot3.votenet.com/nahj/login.cfm.

Only regular, academic and student members in good standing, and some lifetime members can vote. To vote, your dues must have been paid by May 12, 2006. Anyone not in good standing after May 12 is not eligible to vote in the election. If you received a notice from NAHJ, this means you are an eligible voter.

All eligible voters, except students, will elect NAHJ members to the following board positions: President, Vice President/Print, Vice President/Broadcast, Financial Officer, Secretary and the three At-Large Officers: Spanish Language, Online, and General. Students, and only students, will elect a non-voting Student Representative for the board.

All votes must be cast by noon EST on Saturday, June 17, 2006. Results will be tabulated and announced at the NAHJ Hall of Fame Gala and El Gran Baile at the convention that evening.
