    The Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation is a charitable grant making organization that supports work in journalism, communities, citizenship, and education.

    The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, a private foundation independent of the Knight brothers' newspaper enterprises, is dedicated to furthering their ideals of service to community, to the highest standards of journalistic excellence and to the defense of a free press.

    University of Southern California Annenberg School of Journalism offers award winning academic programs in the fields of print, photo, broadcast and online media. USC Annenberg School of Journalism provides work space for the associate director of the the Parity Project based in Los Angeles.
